Refunds and Exchanges
As a business owned by a rather short lady, we get that sometimes things don’t fit or just don’t look good!
For all our fashion items, if you don’t love the item, you can return it for an exchange or store credit provided you return your order within 14 days and the item has not been worn, damaged and still has its original tags and packaging.
Simply follow the steps in ou returns portal. Returns are at the cost of the sender.
Please take extra care when trying on and handling your new garment as returned items must be as new and meet the below conditions.
- Returned items must be in original conditions, unworn and unwashed. This means no makeup, deodorant or other wear stains or marks.
- Returned items must have their original tags. Returns without tags will not be accepted.
- Returned items must be in their original packaging. Returns in paper or zip lock bags won't be accepted.
Returns that do not meet the above conditions will not be accepted and will incur a $9 processing fee before being returned to the customer.
If you receive a free gift with your purchase, you do not need to return your gift :)
You may request up to one size exchange (pending availability of stock).
End of line clearance items cannot be credited or exchanged. Sale items can be returned for exchange or CR.
We do not offer CR or exchanges for earrings, jewellery, towels or bedding.
Due to the size of our bulkier items and cost of shipping, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for home décor items and furniture pieces. However, if the item you have received is faulty or has a warranty issue, our team can assist with that. Please see below for further information regarding faulty goods.
OUR RETURNS PROCESS
- Returns are processed within 4 days of being received at our warehouse
- Upon processing, you will receive either a shipping notification for your exchange or a digital gift card if you opted for a credit note
- Credit notes can be used immediately and are valid for three years
- Afterpay returns will undergo the same process as normal transactions.
FAULTY GOODS
Australian Consumer Law sets out consumer rights that are called consumer guarantees. These include your rights to a repair, replacement or refund as well as compensation in certain circumstances. Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund or replacement where a major failure of the product you purchased has occurred within the statutory warranty timeframe.
You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
If any good purchased on the Hali Home website is not of an acceptable quality and subject of a major or minor fault, such goods are covered by consumer guarantees under Australian consumer law.
Refunds or replacements need to be requested in writing within 14 days of the date of receiving your item.
If you believe the item you have received is faulty, we may require a detailed description of the issue as well as specific photographs which clearly identify the fault.
If we approve the return of your item(s), a refund, repair or replacement will be offered.
Any refunds will be transferred back to the original payment method, eg. your credit card, or site credit.
